This is part of the INVOLVE Webinar Series.
What did children and young people think were the good, and bad, parts of the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown? How did this vary for different groups of children? The Office of the Children’s Commissioner were eager to hear more about the experiences of lockdown for children and young people from throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
This presentation, by Donna Provoost (Director, Strategy, Rights and Advice) and Emma Hope (Senior Advisor, Child and Youth Voice), will provide further insight and explanation to their recently released report; ‘Life in Lockdown: Children and young people’s views on the nationwide COVID-19 level 3 and 4 lockdown between March and May 2020’. The report is based on the combined responses of more than 1400 children and young people who completed a survey in May 2020.
